The Alliance trooper is the work-horse of the Alliance Army's infantry. Wherever there is a conflict, Alliance troopers will be there in force.
While an Alliance trooper may lack the ferocity of a Nexus, the speed of a Praesidian, or the seemingly unending endurance of the Ji'tar, they are a well trained and well equipped force.
The standard trooper comes in many varieties, depending on the planet they are stationed on and the conditions they are fighting in. But most troopers share common traits; such as the standard issue
7.62x51mm round Alliance assault rifle. Dependable, and highly modular, the Alliance assault rifle forms the center of each troopers kit.

The variety of the Alliance troopers make them perfect for proxying your favourite sci-fi soldier miniatures and making your force look that bit more unique.

We'll be back with more artwork soon, but in the meantime don't forget to like us on facebook, follow us on twitter, and sign up for our newsletter on the side of the page, to keep up to date with everything happening in the Icarus Bunker.
Happy Wargaming!

Looking good :)
ReplyDeleteWhat will you be making them out of?
Will they me multipart?
What sort of price are we looking at for a squad of 10?
How many miniatures would you expect to field in a good sized game?
Hi Alex.
ReplyDeleteWe will most likely be producing them in resin, perhaps metal.
Ideally we would like them to be multipart in terms of separate heads and arms/weapons to maximise options. But the bodies will likely be one piece.
We are still discussing price at the moment.
And the game will be skirmish level, so you'll only need 5-15 models depending on the size of the game.
That all sounds good to me.
ReplyDeleteI love playing 40K but I have been looking for a sci-fi skirmish game to help mix things up a bit and this looks promising :)
Thanks Alex,
ReplyDeleteYou can always check out our early rules build here: http://icarusminiatures.blogspot.co.uk/p/downloads.html
It's still a very early build, but should give you a good sense of what to expect.
I have indeed had a look at them and it looks promising, keep up the good work chaps.
ReplyDeleteAny idea when we might be seeing some miniatures?
Thanks Alex! We're going to be getting the first mini sculpted in January.
